Here at Parterre, we have brought a new twist to the Bergamot story… Bergamot Mint.  We not only grow this green and spirited plant but also distill it, producing a wonderful essential oil that combines the vibrance of citrus & Earl Grey with a subtle fresh vibe.  Never used in fine fragrance before, it was new to our French Master Perfumer.  He loved it on first sniff! It is a key note in his creation, Parterre’s Run of the River perfume.

As you would expect, geranium oil has a definite rose scent. But it also has a citrussy, slightly minty freshness with additional earthiness. This gives it a contemporary edge. And this is the reason why it is frequently used by perfumers, either on its own or blended with rose absolute.
