Keyneston Mill Botanic Gardens lie in the Tarrant Valley, bordered by the River Stour, the 18th Century mill house at the heart of the estate. The gardens feature plants from the principal perfume families. Beautiful and gloriously scented, these gardens are also practical trial beds. The surrounding Crop Fields form a patchwork of colour in summer – the vital botanical ingredients, exclusively for inclusion in Parterre perfumes. The gardens are free to enter. We host garden tours every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday,

Each year the horticultural team embark on a mission of discovery – an expedition to discover new plants and research growing techniques. On return to England, the adventure continues with experimentation and trialling of the plants – any might become future ingredients in Parterre perfumes and you can see the work in progress at Keyneston Mill.

The key ingredients for all Parterre Fragrances are grown, harvested and distilled at Keyneston Mill and this process leads to extracts which then become the key notes in the Parterre fragrances.
