The ethos of Parterre is about quality of life and community.
We don’t see ourselves as a volume company, rather doing interesting things with extraordinary aromatic species; searching for and growing these plants ourselves, then creating rare fragrances with these ingredients.

Sustainability is inherent in everything we do, from our core values to production practices. Parterre is about creating genuinely rare perfume by working with the natural elements of the environment and the extraordinary world of plants and their botanical properties. Each year a finite number of bottles of perfume are created from each extraction, to offer a true limited edition eau de parfum.
The volume of fragrance we create is led by the amount of extraordinary ingredients we can grow on our aromatic estate. By never over-cultivating the land, over time we can protect the ecological impact on the landscape, preserving it for the future.
By working with these elements, the excellence of our fragrance is achieved through care and nurturing of the plants, and picking at the optimum moment. It’s knowing what to grow and when to grow – but also when to harvest, distill and refine.
It is our environmental responsibility to create products with transparency and provenance.

We distil, refine and bottle our fragrances, within meters of where the ingredients are grown and harvested at Keyneston Mill. From beginning to end, our processes are localised to ensure our footprint is kept to a minimum.
The packaging of every fragrance is carefully considered, using 100% recyclable materials, all manufactured in the South West. Our eau de parfum’s are wrapped in rich textured paper boxes on which the beautiful illustrations by Petra Dufkova feature.
It takes time, knowledge and a thirst to experiment and create. The result of this journey allows us to share a rare and complex perfume with you.
